I replaced parts of the doll's arms and legs with pipe cleaner and now I have a Catwalk Kitty, who can sit and move her arms properly. The knees aren't very pretty, but if you make an outfit that covers them, it won't matter. The pipe cleaner used for upper arms is one piece going through the body. I made little holes in the arms and legs to insert the pipe cleaners and used hot glue for gluing them.
This Chase got some tattoos, eyebrow ring, haircut, custom boots and jewelry. For more about the customizing process, see my blog.
Anika only got a haircut and a little white paint here and there. She was originally all grey. I used FolkArt's acrylic paint again.
Here are a couple of shots of finished dolls in a photo story I have made.
